Magna Carta

The Magna Carta was a document that King John from England was forced to sign. This was very important part of these times because it limited the kings power by a lot and didn't have all the rights he used to. The Magna Carta was also referred to as "Great Charter". This document was drafted by a powerful Baron of England named Archbishop Stephen Langton. With this document signed you couldn't punish a person who had no reason to be punished and there was even more which had the king loose tremendous power to a very low level til he can't really manage using the feudal system that kept the medieval times in good shape.
